Stabilized Single Dyed Color Options

These examples are dyed Maple woods. Depending on the wood being Stabilized color shades can vary.

We also have several relationships with wood stabilizers and can find out very quickly if they have any dyed woods on hand that you might be looking for or we would be glad to handle the stabilizing of your wood that you have already purchased.

Acrylic Colors

These are the colors that we try to keep in stock, if you don't see a color you're looking for there are a handful of other colors that we have access to and would be glad to order any color you desire.

We also have a very limited stock of some acrylic colors that have been discontinued.

Rag Micarta

A composite of linen or paper fabric in a Thermosetting plastic, used in electrical and decorative areas. Micarta was developed by Westinghouse at least as early as 1910 using Phenolic Resins invented by Dr. Leo Baekeland. These resins were used to impregnate paper and cotton fabric which were cured under pressure and high temperature to produce laminates.

Micarata comes in three Texture types: Paper (Little to No texture) Cotton Linen (Tight weave) & Canvas (Large Weave almost Carbon Fiber Looking)

Delrin

This Polyoxymethylene Plastic is fantastic for a inexpensive options for a call with great mellow tones like wood calls have, without the headache of having  swelling, shrinking, changing tone and cracking due to moisture and will hold up to any abuse that calls can see in the field.

Solid Surfaces Material Options.

Two colors will need to be selected to build a call from Solid Surface Materials that is why we try to keep a large inventory on hand so the customer can get the best pairing of colors.

Short Reed Goose Calls will have Solid Surface Barrel and Hand Piece with no extra charge. Duck Calls will come with Acrylic Stoppers but if a Solid Surface Stopper is wanted there will be a  $10.00 extra charge and we can do that by sleeving an acrylic tone board in the Stopper so the Hand Piece of the stopper will match the barrel of the call. We also have large enough blanks to make full one color inserts for Duck calls, though solid surface does have great tone we feel that the cork notch area of the tone board is very fragile and this should be taken into consideration if you choose to hunt the call.
